A critical warning has been issued to Google Chrome users, urging them to take immediate action.
Google Chrome has identified several multiple flaws, including one critical, identifed as CVE-2023-2721. Google has released "Chrome 113 security update." to remedy the flaws.
The critical flaw enables remote attackers to gain access to user information by crashing an HTML page with excessive corruption. This flaw exploits memory corruption bugs, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution, denial-of-service, or data corruption. Attackers can take advantage of this flaw to target vulnerabilities in the underlying system or Chrome's browser process.
All it takes is that the users are directed to browse to a web page with code that will cause the vulberability to be exploited.
