The pay and benefits information of nearly 2,000 employees at DAA, the company operating Dublin airport in Ireland, was compromised in a recent cyberattack on Aon, a professional service provider.
DAA confirmed that the data breach occurred as a result of the attack on Aon, a third-party provider.
The attack targeted the file-transfer software tool MOVEit, which is used by Aon and affected multiple global companies, including DAA.
Both DAA and Aon have not provided comments on the matter.
