GlobalLogic breached in Oracle E-Business Suite Attack, exposing data of over 10,000 employees

GlobalLogic, an engineering services company owned by Hitachi, is reporting a significant data breach affecting 10,471 current and former employees.
The breach is caused by the exploitation of vulnerabilities in Oracle E-Business Suite and has been linked to the notorious Clop ransomware gang.
The company's investigation confirmed that malicious activity began as early as July 10, 2025, with the most recent unauthorized access occurring on August 20, 2025. GlobalLogic did not identify the breach and data theft until October 9, 2025. The exposed data includes:
- Full names
- Home addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Emergency contact information (names and phone numbers)
- Dates of birth
- Nationalities and countries of birth
- Passport information
- National identifiers and tax identifiers (including Social Security Numbers)
- Salary information
- Bank account details
GlobalLogic claims that the incident was confined to its Oracle platform and did not impact systems outside of Oracle E-Business Suite. GlobalLogic has implemented Oracle's recommended mitigation measures. The company is offering affected individuals 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services, which includes triple bureau credit monitoring.
