Hackers claim breach of P3 Global Intel tip management platform owned by Navigate360, a safety technology provider.
On March 18, 2026, a threat actor using the alias "Internet Yiff Machine" announced the theft of over 8 million confidential tips shared with law enforcement agencies across the United States. The company has not confirmed the incident. The breach reportedly impacts systems used by the military, federal agencies, and local police departments nationwide.
The attacker claims they gained access by using social engineering to take over a legitimate customer account. After compromising the account, the threat actor exploited a system vulnerability to steal 93 gigabytes of data from the platform's backend.
Security researchers at Distributed Denial of Secrets and journalists at Straight Arrow News say they have verified the authenticity of portions of the leaked data by contacting individuals listed in the records.
The compromised data includes:
- Confidential crime tips and hotline messages
- Full names of tipsters and reported individuals
- Phone numbers and email addresses
- Home addresses
- Sensitive personal details linked to criminal reports
The threat actor claims to have accessed 8 million records, but the number of affected individuals is not disclosed.
Navigate360 has not responded to multiple requests for comment regarding the security of its P3 Global Intel platform. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has also declined to provide a statement on the matter. Organizations like DDoSecrets plan to provide the data to vetted researchers to assess the full scope of the exposure and the potential risks to public safety.
