Pinterest, a widely-used image-sharing platform with over 518 million monthly active users, is reportedly facing a data breach. The alleged breach, claimed by a hacker with the pseudonym “Tchao1337,” was announced on a Breachedforums data leak forum. The hacker claims to have leaked a database containing 6 million records of Pinterest user data.
The leaked database was posted on a the forum and reportedly includes email addresses, usernames, user IDs, and IP addresses, among other information. The hacker compressed the database to a file size of 1.59 gigabytes, making it available for download.
