LendInvest, a London-listed property fintech company, is reporting a data breach in which certain customer information was exposed to external parties.

The incident involves customer data being exposed within a testing environment of Lendivenst's systems -  not within the company's primary system that handles operational data.

LendInvest has not provided a precise count of the individuals impacted by the breach, the data that was exposed, the reason for the data being available on the test system nor can it confirm the exact duration for which the exposed information was accessible to unauthorized parties.

LendInvest has assured that the exposed data is no longer accessible, and there is currently no evidence to suggest that any personal information, of any kind, has been exploited maliciously.

The company has enlisted the assistance of specialized support services. They are rigorously following their established incident response plans as part of their ongoing efforts to uncover the full extent and implications of the breach.
