LockBit claims successful attack on pharma company Granules India

The LockBit ransomware group has taken responsibility for a cyberattack on Granules India, a major Indian pharmaceutical company.

LockBit has published some of the stolen data on its dark web leak site.

Granules India has not confirmed the ransomware attack, but the company had previously disclosed a cybersecurity incident without any details and stated that appropriate actions were being taken to address it.

At this moment neither the leak of LockBit nor Granules india provide any details of the attack, impacted types of data nor number of affected individuals.
