Zivame, an online lingerie retailer, has reported a major data breach resulting in the sale of personal information belonging to 1.5 million customers.

The breached data includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses. News outlets confirmed the breach by posing as a potential customer and communicating with the seller on Telegram, who demanded $500 in cryptocurrency for the transfer of the Zivame user data.

The seller provided a sample dataset as proof, which was verified by contacting a few customers who confirmed the accuracy of their names and details, thus validating its authenticity.
