Zizzl LLC, a Milwaukee-based benefits consulting firm specializing in Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs), reports a data breach that occurred in late May 2025 after an employee fell victim to a phishing email attack.
The breach occurred between May 29 and May 30, 2025. The attacker was able to access and potentially exfiltrate sensitive personally identifiable information belonging to clients and individuals associated with Zizzl LLC's benefits consulting services. The exposed data includes:
- Full names
- Home addresses
- Dates of birth
- Social Security numbers
- Driver's license or state identification numbers
- Health insurance information
- Medical records
- Financial information
The number of affected individuals is not disclosed.
The company began notifying affected individuals by mail on on July 22, 2025. Zizzl LLC is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring services.
