Several key organizations in Lithuania, such as Compensa Vienna Insurance Group, If Insurance, and the Lithuanian Roads Association, have reportedly been targeted by the NoName ransomware group.
The NoName group has actively publicized the effects of their cyberattacks on multiple websites of Lithuanian companies. Posts highlight significant disruptions, including website outages and server response issues. Apparently the attacks are DDoS attacks, designed to overhelm websites and make them temporarily unavailable, but not to extract information.
The attack appears to be politically motivated, linked to Lithuania's support for Ukraine against Russia. The organizations running the supposedly impacted sites have not confirmed nor commented on the claims of the ransomware gang.
