A database containing personal details of over 40,000 customers of Singaporean jewellery chain Goldheart has been leaked by hackers on the Dark Web.
The database was shared on hacking forums around May 20 and appears to contain the records of those who signed up for an online account with Goldheart from 2015 to 2022. The leaked database includes names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and birth dates, with fewer than 4,000 entries contained phone numbers and addresses.
Naturally several hundred entries appeared to be fake or contained spam messages - just as in any other online registration database.
Regulators in Singapore are investigating a possible data privacy breach - which is not just possible per the information above.
