Krishna Okhandiar, also known as Charlotte Fang co-founder of the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) Remilia, has confirmed that the DAO treasury has been drained. The Remilia DAO is known for launching the Milady non-fungible token (NFT) collection.

According to Fang's confirmation, an undisclosed hacker transferred millions of dollars in Ether (ETH) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from Remilia's treasury. The incident was initially brought to public attention via a post by Dumpster DAO, a user on Twitter, including a a concerning message from Fang: "I got drained".

The breach led to the sale of valuable NFTs by the hacker, along with the withdrawal of approximately $1 million in ETH to a secondary address. Fang confirmed the breach on social media, highlighting that multiple wallets were compromised. Despite this, she assured that the ownership of NFT contracts remains secure on hardware wallets, though staked NFTs suffered immediate financial impacts.

No details are disclosed about the nature of the attack.

Blockchain security experts are investigating the breach, tracing back to a suspicious transfer that may have initiated the incident. The security breach is reported to have resulted in a loss of nearly 850 ETH, primarily affecting Fumo Liquidity Pool and staked NFTs on the NFTX platform.
