Retirement Clearinghouse Notifies 10509 Account Holders of Data Breach

On May 12, 2023, Retirement Clearinghouse reported a data breach. In the breach an unauthorized party accessed an employee email account containing confidential information, including consumer names, Matrix Trust Company IRA account numbers, and Social Security numbers. There are 10,509 affected individuals in the data breach.
The breach, which was discovered on March 15, 2023, prompted an investigation, and data breach notification letters were sent to affected individuals on May 12, 2023.
