Smart ERP Solutions, Inc. is reporing a data breach after unauthorized parties gained access to sensitive consumer information stored on the company's computer network. Smart ERP Solutions is a Pleasanton, California-based technology and consulting firm specializing in enterprise resource planning services, business process automation, and IT solutions.
The incident occurred between July 3, 2024, and July 13, 2024, when unauthorized actors infiltrated parts of Smart ERP Solutions' network systems. Smart ERP Solutions launched an investigation with assistance from external cybersecurity experts. The investigation confirmed that certain files containing confidential consumer information were accessible to the unauthorized party during the ten-day breach window.
The nature of the attack, the types of data exposed and the number of affected individuals is not disclosed.
On March 11, 2025, Smart ERP Solutions began sending data breach notification letters to all affected individuals.
