On January 18, the Sinobi ransomware group claimed responsibility for the data breach on Title Guaranty Company of Lewis County, a real estate title and escrow firm. The group claims to have stolen 50 gigabytes of sensitive files between December 24 and December 26, 2025.
The compromised data includes:

- Social Security numbers (SSNs)
- Employer Identification Numbers (EINs)
- Driver’s license numbers
- Financial information
- Customer records and contracts
