The Virgin Islands Lottery has temporarily halted its operations due to a breach in its information technology infrastructure, leading to significant system failures. The Virgin Islands Lottery's organizes lotteries in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

This disruption has affected the agency's ability to produce tickets and conduct sales, resulting in the cancellation of Thursday's drawing and all future drawings until the issue is resolved. The agency informed that its IT team, along with external cybersecurity specialists, are working to address the problem and restore the affected systems and services.

Virgin Islands Lottery stated that no funds were compromised during the attack. V.I. Lottery claims that the lottery's drawing process is completely isolated and unconnected to any system.
