Akira ransomware gang claims breach of Italian company divimast

An Italian management solutions company, Divimast, has become the target of a ransomware attack by the Akira ransomware group. The gang claimed responsibility on their leak site on January 17, 2025 and claims to have exfiltrated approximately 8GB of sensitive data from the company's systems.

Divimast is a business consulting firm that specializes in providing tailored solutions for clients, particularly in the area of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. They focus on optimizing business processes and improving operational efficiency for small and medium-sized enterprises in Italy.

The stolen data reportedly includes:

  • Private corporate documents and confidential agreements
  • Internal financial records
  • Human Resources documentation
  • Employee Personal Identifiable Information (PII) including:
    • Contact numbers
    • Email addresses
    • Passport details
  • Customer data

The number of affected individuals and any ransom demands are not disclosed. Divimast has not commented on the breach.
