The firm completed its investigation and confirmed the breach involved personal data from 57,253 individuals. Despite finding the threat in March, the company did not report the event to the state authorities until December 31, 2025.

The compromised data includes:

  • Full names and addresses
  • Dates of birth
  • Social Security numbers
  • Financial account information
  • Government-issued identification numbers

The nature of the attack has not been disclosed.

Austin Associates began mailing notification letters to impacted individuals at the end of December 2025. The firm is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and identity restoration services.

Security experts recommend that affected clients immediately place a fraud alert or credit freeze on their files with major credit bureaus. Users should also monitor their financial statements for any unauthorized transactions.
