Healthed, an Australian healthcare education provider, is reporting a data breach affecting participants of its events, caused by a vulnerability in its website. The vulnerability is apparently blamed on the work of a third party contractor, but that doesn't really make much of a difference here.
Healthed resolved the issue within two hours of its discovery and immediately notified course attendees and staff via email.
The breach exposed the following personal information of participants who attended Healthed's face-to-face educational seminars:
- Names
- Addresses
- Postal addresses
- Mobile phone numbers
Per statement from Healthed, the incident did not compromise any other personal information. The number of affected individuals is not disclosed.
