Brain Cipher has listed Deloitte UK on its dark web data leak site and set a response deadline of December 15. The group claims that Deloitte neglected basic information security measures. They've also hinted at maintaining ongoing access to Deloitte's systems and are promising to reveal details about how they allegedly circumvented the firm's security defenses.
The incident, while currently unverified, involves alleged theft of over 1 terabyte of compressed data.

Update - as of 6th of December 2024, Deloitte has officially responded to Brain Cipher's ransomware attack claims, firmly denying any widespread breach of their systems. According to a company spokesperson, "No Deloitte systems have been impacted,"
Apparently, their investigation indicates that only a single client's system was affected, and this system was not connected to Deloitte's main network.
