Citizen Watches Singapore customer data exposed in data breach

Citizen Watches is reporting a data breach affecting its customers in Singapore. The breach, which is under investigation by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), was identified as having occurred around April 24, 2024.
The company is actively investigating the incident in collaboration with the police and PDPC. Currently it's only known that a malicious third party gained unauthorized access to Citizen Watches’ remote server, stealing personal data. Exposed data includes:
- Names
- Contact details
- E-mail addresses
- Passwords
- Dates of birth
- Country/Region
- Occupation
- Income range
Citizen Watches did not disclose the number of affected customers or any details of the attack.
Affected customers were notified via e-mail on April 30, 2024.
