Cleveland City Schools is reporting that they are addressing a ransomware attack that started on August 15th. The attack impacts less than 5% of all connected devices in the school network.

Despite encountering this setback, the majority of devices used by students, faculty, and staff have not been affected, ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of Cleveland City Schools. The administration assures parents and guardians that sensitive information, including data from PowerSchool, is securely stored offsite.
