Everest Ransomware gang claims breach on Saudi industrial giant Rezayat Group

Rezayat Group, an industrial services conglomerate based in Saudi Arabia, has reportedly become the latest victim of the Everest ransomware gang. Rezayat Group operates through a network of 25 companies across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and other sectors, operations span 13 countries and employs over 20,000 people worldwide
The gang listed the company on its leak site claiming to have exfiltrated approximately 10 gigabytes of sensitive corporate data. The compromised data allegedly includes:
- Client contracts and agreements
- Technical drawings of industrial infrastructure
- Internal reports and communications
- Business documentation related to engineering projects
The Cybernews research team investigated the data sample that the attackers attached to the post. The researchers note that several screenshots of the supposedly stolen data include reports and contracts with entities that are supposed to be Rezayat's clients, along with technical drawings of what appears to be industrial entities.
Rezayat Group has not yet publicly commented on the alleged breach. It remains unclear whether the company has engaged with the attackers or paid any ransom demands.
