Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Inc. (FITI) hacked by Lockbit ransomware gang

Learn More

Lockbit3.0, a ransomware group, has targeted Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Inc. (FITI), a Taiwanese semiconductor firm, and claims to have stolen 5TB of data. FITI is distinct from Foxconn, a major global electronics manufacturer.

The public-facing website of FITI has been defaced and the defacement is still ongoing. The site defaced page has links to the dark web sites of Lockbit and instructions to contact the hackers.

Interestingly enough, the dark web sites of Lockbit don't list FITI as a victim - either because of some delay or because FITI is already negotiating with the hackers.

No information is available from Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Inc.

Update - Foxsemicon Integrated Technology Inc's confirmed that their website was hijacked by a ransomware group. While Foxsemicon recovered their website and stated the incident shouldn't significantly affect operations, the English-language site remained inaccessible, and the company didn't disclose details about the ransom or data leak.
