Andy Frain Services, a security firm that provides services to high-profile clients including the NFL, NBA, and NASCAR, is reporting a data breach resulting from a ransomware attack. The ransomware group Black Basta took responsibility for the attack and claim that the attackers exfiltrated approximately 750 GB of data from Andy Frain Services' systems.
The incident occurred in October 2024 and has impacted more than 100,000 individuals whose personal information was compromised.
The exposed types of personal information are not disclosed.
The company reports that notification letters were sent to precisely 100,964 people whose information was compromised in the attack. It's not clear why the company took seven months to report the breach.
