FriendlyCare Pharmacy, a pharmaceutical chain operating seven locations across Queensland, Australia, was listed on the Kairos ransomware group's dark web leak site on February 19, 2026.
The hackers claim to have stolen 113 gigabytes of sensitive data from the organization's infrastructure. Kairos publicly accused the pharmacy of concealing the breach, stating they believe the public should be informed about the compromise of their personal information.
According to the threat actor's claims and posted samples, the compromised data includes:
- Medical scripts and prescription records
- Internal incident reports
- Employment correspondence and HR records
- Driver's licenses and identification documents
- Full names and personal contact details
- Sensitive medical history and health information
The number of affected individuals is not disclosed. The leaked samples pertain to the pharmacy's Booval location.
FriendlyCare Pharmacy has not yet issued a public statement or confirmed the validity of the ransomware group's claims. The Kairos group stated they will publish the full dataset in approximately six days if their demands are not answered.
