Grant County Public Utility District (Grant PUD) is reporting a data breach that compromised the personal information of approximately 850 employees and recent retirees who were on the payroll from March through April 2024.
Grant PUD claims that the breach has been contained and does not affect customer information.
The utility company has not disclosed details about the nature of the attack and types of exposed data. "As a security measure, Grant PUD is not releasing details about how we learned of the breach while the investigation is ongoing," the company stated.
