A hacker is claiming a data breach of OmniGPT, a global AI model aggregation platform that provides access to multiple AI services including ChatGPT-4, Claude 3.5, Gemini, and Midjourney.
The breach was initially reported by KrakenLabs and later corroborated by a post on BreachForums from a user known as "Gloomer." The types of sensitive information that were allegedly exposed include:
- User emails (approximately 30,000 users affected)
- Phone numbers (affecting approximately 20% of users)
- All messages between users and AI chatbots (over 34 million lines)
- API keys
- Credentials
- Crypto private keys (approximately 130 keys, 10 with active balances)
- Uploaded files containing potential billing information
- User-uploaded documents
The nature of the attack is not disclosed.
According to reports, the exposed data contains information from users across multiple countries.
The stolen data was reportedly being offered for sale at $100 as of January 24, 2025. OmniGPT has not publicly acknowledged the breach or responded to requests for comment. Hackread.com has reportedly verified the authenticity of some of the leaked data samples.
