Motorcyle parts seller Dennis Kirk breached, data leaked

Learn More

Motorcycle-parts retailer Dennis Kirk experienced a data breach that exposes millions of customer records. The breach was initially reported by Have I Been Pwned, a data breach notification service, which confirmed they had obtained nearly 20 gigabytes of customer data from three sources identified as "IntelBroker," "almighty444," and "EnergyWeaponUser."

The confirmed exposed data includes 1.3 million unique email addresses along with customer records dating back to September 2021. These records contain sensitive information including:

  • customer names,
  • phone numbers,
  • postal codes,
  • detailed purchase histories.

However, the scope of the breach may be significantly larger than initially reported. According to CyberInsider.com, the anonymous seller "IntelBroker" claimed on BreachForums that they possess information on 12.2 million customers, far exceeding the data shared with Have I Been Pwned.

Dennis Kirk remains silent on the matter. The company has not responded to multiple contact attempts from Have I Been Pwned regarding the breach. The cause of the breach, the full extent of the compromised data, and what steps, if any, are being taken to protect affected customers are not disclosed.
