The American toy and entertainment company Hasbro, Inc., owner of iconic brands like Transformers, Monopoly, Peppa Pig, Dungeons & Dragons, My Little Pony, Nerf, Play-Doh, and Magic: The Gathering, has confirmed a cyberattack after detecting unauthorized access to its corporate network on March 28, 2026.
Hasbro activated its security incident response protocols, implemented containment measures including taking certain systems offline, and launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity professionals. Parts of Hasbro's website appeared to be down as of Wednesday, displaying maintenance error messages to visitors
The company used business continuity plans to maintain order processing, product shipping, and other critical operations while the situation is being resolved. Hasbro has cautioned investors and the public that these interim measures may need to remain in place for several weeks and could result in operational delays.
