HealthAlliance reports data breach

HealthAlliance, Inc has reported a data breach, officially published on December 11, 2023

An unauthorized party was detected to have had access to the company's IT network, between August 18, 2023, and October 13, 2023. The breach led to potential exposure of sensitive consumer information, including:

• names,
• addresses,
• dates of birth,
• Social Security numbers,
• medical and health insurance information,
• financial data.

The number of affected individuals and the nature of the attack are not disclosed.

HealthAlliance implemented security measures, involved law enforcement, and collaborated with cybersecurity specialists to investigate the breach.

After determining the extent of the data compromise, HealthAlliance began issuing notification letters to affected individuals, advising them of the specific information about them that was leaked.
