Learn More
Inspira Financial Trust LLC, a provider of health, wealth, retirement and benefits solutions, is reporting a data breach exposing 2,308 retirement plan participants.
The security incident involved a third-party call center representative who improperly accessed personal data related to a "limited number of retirement accounts" operated by Inspira. The unauthorized access occurred between December 2024 and January 2025.
The compromised personal information include participants'
- names,
- Social Security numbers,
- dates of birth,
- mailing addresses,
- previous employers,
- previous retirement plan sponsors,
- Inspira account numbers, types and balances.
The company terminated its relationship with the call center representative involved and is working with the call center vendor to ensure the incident has been properly reported to law enforcement authorities.
As an additional security measure, Inspira has flagged affected participants' accounts for enhanced security review. This protective hold will remain in place until participants verify their identity and explicitly direct Inspira to remove the flag. The company is also offering affected individuals identity protection and credit monitoring services through Experian for two years at no cost.
