The phishing campaign compromised an employee's credentials, granting the attacker entry into the organization's internal business administration network and business applications
Once the attacker gained entry, they moved through internal business applications to access sensitive files. The compromised data includes:

- Intuitive corporate data
- Intuitive employee data
Intuitive claims that their segmented network architecture separates its business administration systems from its manufacturing operations and clinical product platforms. This design prevented the attacker from moving laterally into the networks supporting the da Vinci and Ion surgical systems.
The number of affected individuals is not disclosed. Intuitive stated that the incident has not impacted its operations and is not expected to result in a material financial loss for the company.
