Kemper Sports Management, LLC ("KemperSports") reports a data breach after discovering that an unauthorized party accessed information stored on the company's computer network.
KemperSports, headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, provides consulting, golf course management, and hospitality management services to over 140 golf courses, private clubs, sports venues, and destination resorts across the United States.
On 1st April 2024, KemperSports detected suspicious activity on its computer network, secured its systems, and launched an investigation to assess the extent of the breach. The investigation confirmed unauthorized access to files containing confidential consumer information.
The breach exposed sensitive consumer information, including:

- Social Security numbers
