While the cyberattack disrupted public internet access and internal systems within the nine libraries in Solano County, the impact on St. Helena Public Library was less clear. The St. Helena library utilizes a separate cloud-based system for storing its data, which may have insulated it somewhat from the breach

The St. Helena Public Library remained open and operational, including its internet, Wi-Fi, computer, and phone services. The library assures the public and its patrons that it does not store sensitive financial information such as bank or credit card details. However, they have advised library cardholders to monitor their financial accounts for suspicious activity and to be wary of unsolicited communications claiming to be from the library or related parties, as these could be phishing attempts.
