The law firm identified that there was unauthorized access to its network between May 7 and May 9, 2023, with the breach detected by a third-party company. Although the firm had contact with the attackers, the specifics of this communication were not disclosed. In June 2023, the attackers reportedly informed Houser that they had deleted the stolen data and would not distribute it.
