Multiple health groups in Central Oregon, including Deschutes County Health Services, Best Care, and the La Pine Community Health Center report being impacted by an incident at a third party vendor TriZetto Provider Solutions (TPS). Attackers broke into a TPS web portal to view historical insurance reports containing sensitive patient data.
The unauthorized access lasted from November 2024 until October 2, 2025. TPS found the suspicious activity in October 2025 and worked to stop the threat. The groups report that the incident affected the TPS environment and did reach their internal networks or systems.
Exposed data inlcudes:
- Full names and home addresses
- Dates of birth
- Social Security numbers
- Health insurance member numbers and insurer names
- Healthcare provider names
The health group learned of the breach on December 10, 2025. They are now mailing letters to over 4,000 local patients to warn them of the exposure and offering 12 months of free identity theft recovery and credit monitoring including a $1 million insurance policy for reimbursement of fraud-related costs.
