NAHGA Claim Services data breach exposes health information of over 181,000 individuals

NAHGA Claim Services, a third-party administrator specializing in accident and health insurance claims, reports a data breach that compromised personal and protected health information of up to 181,160 individuals. 

On April 13, 2025, NAHGA detected unusual activity involving its network systems. The investigation concluded that an unauthorized third party gained access to NAHGA's systems and potentially stole files between April 8 and April 10, 2025. 

The compromised data includes:

  • Names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Dates of birth
  • Driver's license numbers or state identification card numbers
  • Health insurance information and policy numbers
  • Medical or treatment information
  • Financial account information

The nature of the attack is not disclosed.

NAHGA began notifying impacted parties on November 14, 2025. NAHGA notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation and has pledged full cooperation with law enforcement authorities and established a dedicated toll-free call center at 1-844-274-4845, which operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

NAHGA is offering complimentary identity theft protection services to all impacted individuals.
