Paysign is investigating claims of a data breach after reports emerged of hackers attempting to sell a database of 1.2 million records supposedly stolen from the fintech. Paysign is a prominent financial technology company offering a suite of digital banking solutions, prepaid card programs, and integrated payment processing services.

The company has publicly acknowledged the breach reports and is conducting an inquiry into the matter. Paysign assures that there has been no interruption to their services, allowing cardholders to continue utilizing their accounts without disruption.

The alleged breach was claimed by a hacking forum identity "emo," who claimed responsibility for stealing 1,242,575 records. According to the hacker, these records include sensitive information such as:

  • addresses,
  • dates of birth,
  • phone numbers,
  • account balances of Paysign customers.
