Precipio, Inc., a healthcare diagnostics company specializing in cancer testing, reported a data breach following a ransomware attack claimed by the INC Ransom group.
The group gained entry by compromising a employee's cloud storage credentials on or around November 23, 2025. The INC Ransom group claims to have stolen 150 GB of data. The company discovered the incident on November 25, 2025.
The compromised data includes:
- Full names and home addresses
- Dates of birth
- Medical record numbers
- Clinical or treatment details
- Medical procedure information
- Medical provider names
- Prescription information
- Health insurance information
The number of affected individuals is not disclosed. Precipio is still reviewing the files to determine the scope of the exposure for each individual. The company notified federal law enforcement and posted a formal notice on its website to alert the public.
