Qilin ransomware gang claims cyberattack on Malibu Boats Australia, alleging 160 GB data theft

Malibu Boats Australia, a boat builder and seller, has been listed as a victim of a ransomware attack by the Qilin cybercrime group. 

The threat actors claim to have stolen approximately 160 gigabytes of data from the company's systems, in 148,538 files. The nature and content of the compromised information is not disclosed. 

The link to access or verify the stolen data was found to be inaccessible, and no sample data or additional commentary on the incident was provided by the attackers.

The number of affected individuals has not been disclosed.
