Rotech Healthcare Inc., based in Orlando, Florida, alerted its customers on February 23rd about a data security incident involving Philips Respironics, which potentially impacted the personal information of patients who acquired Philips sleep and respiratory devices through Rotech.
Philips confirmed that an investigation into the incident was caused by the security flaw in the MOVEit Transfer software which unauthorized access to patient information on May 31, 2023.
