Rumpke Waste and Recycling, based in Colerain Township, Ohio, has been hit by a ransomware attack attributed to the cybercriminal group Hunters International.
Discovered on October 14, 2024, the breach reportedly led to the exfiltration of 3.3 terabytes of data. While the company is still investigating the incident with forensics experts, initial assessments suggest that customer payment information and payment processing systems were not compromised.
