The Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute (PCLI) is reporting that they are currently managing the aftermath of a cyberattack for which the LockBit group has taken responsibility.
PCLI announced on their website that the attack has disrupted their communication systems and computers. However, they confirmed that their clinical and surgical equipment remains functional and patient appointments are continuing, with efforts to minimize cancellations.
No further details about the breach are available from Pacific Cataract
LockBit 3.0 listed PCLI on its leak site on November 29 with a deadline for response by November 30. Recently, PCLI's incident was removed from LockBit's leak site, but the reasons—whether due to ongoing negotiations, payment to LockBit, or an update—are unclear.
