The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is reporting a data breach in May 2024 affecting 60,180 individuals. The organization notified law enforcement, changed network passwords, and reviewed security policies.

The unauthorized access occurred between May 10-30, 2024, exposing sensitive data including:

  • taxpayer identification numbers,
  • financial card information,
  • medical information,
  • driver's license numbers,
  • passport numbers.

The nature of the attack is not disclosed.

They're offering free credit monitoring and identity protection services to affected individuals and established an information line (833-799-4195) operating weekdays from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
