Soliant Health reports data breach caused by compromised email account

Soliant Health reportes a data breach after discovering unauthorized access to an employee’s email account. Soliant Health, based in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, provides staffing services across healthcare, education, nursing, and retail pharmacy sectors.

On June 25, 2024, Soliant detected unusual activity within an employee's email account. The company secured the affected account and enlisted external cybersecurity experts to investigate. Following an investigation, it was confirmed that an unauthorized party gained access to sensitive consumer information contained in that email account, which included:

• Names,
• Social Security numbers,
• Government-issued ID numbers.

The number of affected individuals is not disclosed.

After completing the investigation, Soliant began notifying all affected individuals by mail on October 29, 2024, outlining the compromised data and offering guidance on protective measures.
