St Vincent's Health emphasized that the cyber attack had no operational impact on their healthcare facilities, including public and private hospitals, 20 aged care centers, and virtual in-home care services.
The response to the breach involved immediate containment measures, which were executed day and night, and the engagement of external cybersecurity experts who were already on retainer.
