T-Mobile US reported a second data breach since the beginning of 2023.

The company has found out that certain customer data of 868 customers, such as names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and driver's license information, has been accessed by an unauthorized party between late February and March 2023.

However, T-Mobile clarified that no financial information or account passwords were involved in the breach, and affected customers will receive two years of free credit monitoring services.

T-Mobile informed that the threat actors didn't gain access to call records or affected individuals' personal financial account info, but the exposed personally identifiable information contains more than enough data for identity theft. As a precaution, T-Mobile has proactively reset PINs of affected customers.
