The Grand Hotel Taipei, a luxury hotel in Taiwan, reports a cybersecurity incident on February 22, 2026. 

The hotel detected a breach on February 17, 2026, disconnected affected systems and issued a public warning of a possible data breach. Initial investigation confirmed that parts of the system were accessed. The hotel is currently working with the Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau to determine the timeline of the intrusion and the techniques used by the threat actors. 

The number of affected individuals is not disclosed. The hotel stated they are waiting final forensic confirmation before disclosing scope and content of the affected data.

The hotel's operations remain normal, and accommodations and catering services continuing without interruption. Security experts recommend that past and current guests be careful of suspicious emails and verify any messages requesting payment or personal information.
