University of Missouri System reports MOVEit related data breach

The University of Missouri System has reported a data breach involving the compromise of personal data within the system due to a breach in the MOVEit file transfer software. 

The breach has affected certain external vendors utilized for operational processes, such as enrollment and pensions. Specifically, Pension Benefit Information and the National Student Clearinghouse, both of which are subcontractors for university vendors, were impacted.

The compromised files potentially contained data from the student record database of current and former University of Missouri students.
